Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an appointment to try on and/or see your selection of gowns?
Yes! Our store features private consultation areas that are booked for a bride or her party to try on gowns. With the assistance of an experienced and helpful consultant, brides can try lots of gowns in front of full-length mirrors while we accommodate her friends or family to help with her decision. Once you book your appointment, we will be able to customize your time with us to better the chances of finding your perfect dress!
How long are appointments?
Who should I bring to my appointment?
Less is more! We suggest bringing your closest friends and family. We are a small boutique, and have comfortable seating for 2 people. We find that your closest friends and family tend to have your best interests at heart making the decision a bit easier for you when choosing your gown! Sometimes many opinions can make decision making difficult.
What should I wear for undergarments to my appointment?
We suggest nude underwear, and a strapless bra. Feel free to bring shape wear as well. Most of our gowns have a lot of structure, and undergarments aren't normally required to get the perfect fit!

Alterations
Frequently Asked Questions
Are alterations always required or will my dress fit perfectly when I try it on for the first time?
We have become accustomed to alterations being required 99% of the time. Gowns are ordered based on the nearest available size to your measurements. Measurements are taken at the bust, waist, and hips, and the size ordered is based on the largest measurement with tailoring required for the smaller measurements.
What are the alterations costs?
Alterations are individually based and priced, but range from as low as $35 to $300 depending on the work involved. Our bridal professionals will offer a quote prior to alterations being started.
How many fittings are required?
Once you have purchased your gown and it has arrived at the boutique, you will require approximately 4 fittings (depending on the work needing to be done). After the final fitting we will steam your gown so it will be ready for you to take home.
When can I start alterations?
We recommend starting alterations 3 months before your event date. The balance owing on your gown must be fully paid before alterations can be started.
What do I need to bring with me for fittings?
The shoes and undergarments that you will wear on your big day are key to making sure you get the perfect fit during your appointment. Please bring them with you!
Who should I bring with me to fittings?
To make sure we can give you our full attention please only bring 2 people with you to the fitting appointments. This makes it easier to manage feedback.
