Do I need an appointment to try on and/or see our selection of gowns?
Yes we ask that you book an appointment. Our store features private consultation rooms that are booked for a bride or her party to try on gowns. With the assistance of an experienced and helpful consultant, brides can try lots of gowns in front of full-length mirrors while we accommodate her friends or family to help with her decision. Once you book your appointment, we will be able to customize your time with us to better the chances of finding your dream dress!
How long does it take to order a wedding gown?
Most wedding gowns can be ordered within four to six months. We recommend shopping for your gown about a year before to allow plenty of time for your gown to come in and to book your fittings. Otherwise, we can help you select from our vast selection of sample dresses available for purchase or can offer rush orders from certain designers.
What are the prices of the gowns?
Our wedding gowns range from about $600 to $3000 with most priced under $2000. We carry a great selection of gowns to accommodate any budget. Bridesmaids’ dresses range from $150 to $400. Mothers’ and other evening dresses range from $200-$600.
How long does it take to order a bridesmaids dress?
Most bridesmaids' dresses can be ordered in 12 to 14 weeks. Please allow extra time for the dresses to be fitted. Many companies will do rush cuts in less time for an extra charge. Sample dresses are available to try on in store from sizes 8-16. Otherwise, we can assess the style and cut your body type requires and based on measurement charts, order your size, style and color of your bridesmaid’s dress.
Am I able to have my wedding dress altered?
Absolutely! Our skilled seamstress is remarkably talented and works relentlessly to make sure that your dress fits perfect and looks great. Fittings are also by appointment.
What are the alterations costs?
Alterations are individually based and priced but range from as low as $20 to $150 depending on the work involved. Our bridal professionals can offer a quote before the alterations are commenced.
How many fittings are required?
Once you’ve purchased your dress and it is in store, you could require up to three fittings with our seamstress. She begins from the top of a dress and makes her alterations/fittings so that the hem of the dress is the measured last.
When should I start my fittings, especially if I’m planning to loose weight?
We recommend that your first fitting be scheduled for approximately 6-8 weeks prior to the wear date.
Are alterations always required or will my dress fit perfectly when I try it on for the first time?
We have become accustomed to alterations being required in approximately 99% of the time. Gowns are ordered based on the nearest available size to your measurements. Measurements are taken at the bust, waist and hips and the size ordered is based on the largest measurement with tailoring required for the smaller measurements.
Do you rent gowns?
All our gowns are available for purchase only! We do, however, have accessories such as bolero jackets, fur shawls, satin and velvet capes and more available for rental.
Do you store my gown until the wear date?
Yes, we are happy to offer gown storage at no extra fee until your wear date!
